hunter's game the graveyard You wake up in an unfamiliar cabin. At first, it almost seems like you're in an entirely different place and that everything had been just a dream. The interior of the cabin looks nothing like the run-down, old-timey shacks that you had been living in before. Everything in here is sleek and modern, from the enormous flat-screen TV mounted on the wall to the fridge and mini-bars stocked with all your favorite foods. There aren't any individual rooms in here, just a common area large enough to house everyone comfortably, no matter how many more people join you...and there will be plenty more people joining you before the week is over. Because if you look outside the window, it quickly becomes clear that not only are you still in Prayer's Pass, but that you are no longer among the realm of the living. Judging from the tombstones directly outside, you're now in what had been the abandoned broken-down cabin in the graveyard. The cabin's not all that changed; the world outside has gone completely grey and everything you see appears to be faded and blurry. The only things that remain sharp and in color are what's inside the cabin, including your fellow ghosts. Occasionally, people who are still alive may enter, but it's clear that what they're seeing is completely different from what you're seeing. The door's unlocked; however, a mysterious force prevents you from stepping beyond the threshold, no matter how hard you may try. After all, this cabin is a cage for the dead - a gilded one, perhaps, but a cage nonetheless. On the flat-screen TV plays everything that is currently happening in the town. It will shut off once night starts...and something else will appear instead. (The graveyard so far)

If the wolves could talk about it maybe we could catch some sort of trick in the wording, or something. [Lithuania shrugs.] Do we have any idea of what they're supposed to do?

They have to win, they need everyone to die and they aren't allowed to tell us why.

I had a guess, but I still think my guess is childish.

[motheringnation]

What is it?

[vytis]

W-well, it has to be something important enough that we [prey] can't be told, right? So it would have to be something that would change the situation even for us. And something that would make people like Mr. Wayne kill even though everyone who knew him said he never would, right? Something beyond just being threatened, then, I think. So I thought--maybe they could bring people back, or something like that.

Near the end I was a little desperate for hope, though, so maybe I was just reaching.

[motheringnation]

Maybe.... I suppose anything is possible. But we're not going to find out until they do something.

[She's really starting to hate having no power here.]

[vytis]

We'll just have to be patient. [Lithuania ran himself in circles during the game lamenting his powerlessness, he's super zen now.]

[motheringnation]

Yes.

I suppose we do.

....Do you want to help me make some food? I was thinking if we made some proper Lithuanian, Ukrainian and Polish food we might even get Poland to eat properly.

[vytis]

I wouldn't mind helping. [...Though Poland is still in his lap.] Do you think I can move him without waking him up?

[motheringnation]

[Glances over.]

I think so. He can sleep through a lot can't he?

[vytis]

He did have a lot to drink for a human body last night. [Patting Poland on the head...]

[motheringnation]

Yes he did.

[Small smile because Poland.]

I think we all did. That game was rigged against us from the start.

[Poland shifts on Lithuania's lap.] Mmm...

That's the point of picking it...

[vytis]

[Poland lives! Lithuania pets his hair a bit. He does owe Poland two weeks still.]

I suppose it really was more of an excuse than anything, yes.

[notyetlost]

[He is alive! Sort of anyways. His head is up at least.]

I want a do over... you guys cheated.

How do humans drink at all with these bodies? [This explains a lot about the human relationship with alcohol actually.]

[Lithuania is going to sit Poland up properly and hand him some water.]

I think humans don't generally drink as much as we do. [Especially short ones.]

[Poland sips on it. His very human liver thanks you Lithuania.]

Did I beat Prussia? [She's shorter!]

...Not exactly. [You were the first nation down, sorry.]

[Typical Poland. Lithuania gets up, though, now that he's free. Making food was the plan anyway.] Alright, you could use a proper meal. Requests?

No. [Looking pretty stern about that.] That's almost all you've eaten. What do you want that isn't snack food?

[notyetlost]

Aw come on! If you bake them yourself they're totally an appetizer!

[Caraway seeds are like crack or something.]

Pick out real food or I'm going to make you a salad to offset everything else.
