hunter's game the graveyard You wake up in an unfamiliar cabin. At first, it almost seems like you're in an entirely different place and that everything had been just a dream. The interior of the cabin looks nothing like the run-down, old-timey shacks that you had been living in before. Everything in here is sleek and modern, from the enormous flat-screen TV mounted on the wall to the fridge and mini-bars stocked with all your favorite foods. There aren't any individual rooms in here, just a common area large enough to house everyone comfortably, no matter how many more people join you...and there will be plenty more people joining you before the week is over. Because if you look outside the window, it quickly becomes clear that not only are you still in Prayer's Pass, but that you are no longer among the realm of the living. Judging from the tombstones directly outside, you're now in what had been the abandoned broken-down cabin in the graveyard. The cabin's not all that changed; the world outside has gone completely grey and everything you see appears to be faded and blurry. The only things that remain sharp and in color are what's inside the cabin, including your fellow ghosts. Occasionally, people who are still alive may enter, but it's clear that what they're seeing is completely different from what you're seeing. The door's unlocked; however, a mysterious force prevents you from stepping beyond the threshold, no matter how hard you may try. After all, this cabin is a cage for the dead - a gilded one, perhaps, but a cage nonetheless. On the flat-screen TV plays everything that is currently happening in the town. It will shut off once night starts...and something else will appear instead. (The graveyard so far)

[Poland catches that face and lets his sleeve slip up to reveal his hand better.] This is like no big deal or anything, I like don't even miss it. I'm totally gonna get a cooler one made when we get home.

And maybe I don't want to apologize. [Do you know how hard he had to work to scrape together six sacrifices? Too hard.]

But like whatever, you would have done like the same thing for me. [Probably.]

[Lithuania switches into Lithuanian, since he knows England can speak Polish.]

Of course. England says you've been making people cry, though.

[The teasing, half-amused and half-chiding tone is probably the real reason he switched languages.]

[Bruce too. It's like way more popular than Poland would have thought here.]

Not that many people.

Actually I think I'm losing my touch or something, usually I can make people cry no problem I really had to work at it.

[Maybe they could switch to an older version of it or something.]

You'll have to apologize for that.

[That's all Lithuania really has to say about that for now, though. He looks back down at where Poland's hand once was.]

Is that why Polonia was missing her hand?

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I have like way bigger problems than whatever Ada wants to do to me at this point. [Namely his upcoming musical number. Maybe they'll all die before he has to do it. That'd be rad.]

Yeah. I didn't have anything on me when I died, so I figured whatever I'll just chop off my hand. I'd already gotten all sliced up once anyways, no biggie.

I didn't know Critter was gonna get all like meta and junk with it... [Speaking of which.] So like how long exactly was it before you realized the painting had nothing to do with anything I was trying to get you focus on?

Once actual clues started showing up. [Lithuania almost reaches for his notebook before realizing he wouldn't have it here.] At first I suppose you were all just--unlocking buildings? So it seemed like the items themselves were the important part. Once videos and journal entries started showing up it was more obvious.

Well, I opened the church because I wanted you to know I was okay and junk too. I had to fight Kanaya for it.

It totally worked too! [Who knows you best Liet? Hint it's Poland.] Just slower than I thought.

[vytis]

[Lithuania's relaxed state falters a bit at the "slower than I thought" part.]

Ah, did you--see that, then?

Smidgen.

it's okay though, Ukraine explained it to me a little bit.

[vytis]

Did she? [Lithuania thinks that over, though he doesn't seem offended or anything.] What did she tell you? I never really was--clear on... Ah. What happened, was I?

[notyetlost]

Just that you know. Um. When you were at Russia's and it got kinda hard to deal with you'd like. Tune out for a bit. [Poland is having a hard time keeping his eyes from wandering to Lithuania's scars, so he just closes them.] So when I died, you tuned out.

[If he'd known Lithuania was going to end up here, he'd of never divulged all that personal stuff about Lithuania to Sayaka. That was probably wrong of him to do.]

... Sorry.

[Lithuania leans on Poland a bit.]

Ah, that's essentially it, yes. I don't see what you have to apologize for, though.

I can think of a couple things.

You just get the one if you're going to make me apologize to everyone else though.

[Lithuania smiles.] You brought that on yourself. But I should be the one apologizing for worrying you.

[notyetlost]

Nah. [Poland gently rests his remaining hand against the small of Lithuania's back, leaning his head in the crook of Lithuania's neck.] I knew you'd pull through, you've been through worse stuff.

Exactly why I shouldn't have been worrying you. [Lithuania smooths out Poland's hair a little more. He can't stop fussing, it's literally impossible.] Though I suppose you don't need me hiding everything from you, either.

[notyetlost]

[After being separated from Lithuania for what could easily contend for the most miserable two weeks of Poland's existence, he'll take all the ridiculous doting he's offered.]

We both kinda suck at hiding stuff from each other anyways.

[He can only guess how long it would have taken Lithuania to figure out he was a wolf had he lived.]

A little bit. [Lithuania has been planning on asking Poland why he had hardly said two words to him the day before he died, after all.] It would have been so much easier if we'd been on the same side.

[Either side would have been fine.]

Hey I like tried to swap. It was like the first thing I asked before I was finally like, yeah fine whatever I'll be a wolf if you're like soooo desperate to have me Critter.

Mayu totally stole my role.

What did omnivore do, anyway?

[Lithuania never got to see it on Hanekoma's plaque.]

Pick whatever role they wanted from everyone already dead. I'd of been fine with just prey though, honestly.

Or maybe you could have been the omnivore and pick tracker!

Wouldn't that have been convenient? You wouldn't have lost a role after all.

Yeah. Critter really made it kinda easy for you guys, even with our mistakes.

We'd of done way better if everyone had listened to me.

I hope you argued against killing Mr. Sunderland after the way he'd voted.

Duh! I don't know what they were thinking. I mean seriously. And people have like the audacity to call me dumb.

Also he might not be a jerk, but he is literally the most depressing guy you will ever meet.
