hunter's game the graveyard You wake up in an unfamiliar cabin. At first, it almost seems like you're in an entirely different place and that everything had been just a dream. The interior of the cabin looks nothing like the run-down, old-timey shacks that you had been living in before. Everything in here is sleek and modern, from the enormous flat-screen TV mounted on the wall to the fridge and mini-bars stocked with all your favorite foods. There aren't any individual rooms in here, just a common area large enough to house everyone comfortably, no matter how many more people join you...and there will be plenty more people joining you before the week is over. Because if you look outside the window, it quickly becomes clear that not only are you still in Prayer's Pass, but that you are no longer among the realm of the living. Judging from the tombstones directly outside, you're now in what had been the abandoned broken-down cabin in the graveyard. The cabin's not all that changed; the world outside has gone completely grey and everything you see appears to be faded and blurry. The only things that remain sharp and in color are what's inside the cabin, including your fellow ghosts. Occasionally, people who are still alive may enter, but it's clear that what they're seeing is completely different from what you're seeing. The door's unlocked; however, a mysterious force prevents you from stepping beyond the threshold, no matter how hard you may try. After all, this cabin is a cage for the dead - a gilded one, perhaps, but a cage nonetheless. On the flat-screen TV plays everything that is currently happening in the town. It will shut off once night starts...and something else will appear instead. (The graveyard so far)

Right? God, he was the last of that group who would actually lift a finger to end this rubbish and put us all out of our days-long misery. Unless someone can get their act together we're going to be here for another three days waiting for these dolts to keel over.

Might be one thing Wolves can do, but has even odds would just make Critter kill us all. At least would spite the thing though.

If I knew I would have put forth more effort into catching Sharon first, but I was concerned about your special role since I couldn't be entirely certain that you were speaking the truth. [A SIGH. he takes back what he said about underestimation being his biggest mistake, letting Sharon live and bumble around totally was...]

Either way, are meant to keep lips tight on Wolf motivation whilst we're here. Revealing is a forfeit or... something... all the rules were in woods, can't check from here.

They're so genuine about it though - and Critter hasn't been lighting them up when they actually bother to go into the voting room, I think it might let them get away with this. It hasn't taken her to task for the prey cheating yet, has it? It would have by now.

As long as Sharon's still alive and trying to win, we owe it to her and our side to keep our mouths shut. Even if we're very likely going to lose anyway, throwing in the towel intentionally may convince Critter to not even bother with the real game.

Besides, I know the rules very well. Revealing our incentive isn't a forfeit, it simply gets rid of it...making the whole thing pointless.

It was fairly obvious you were one so that much wasn't a concern, at least. I only regret not taking your claim at one hundred percent face value. [shaking his head...

It's good to have one potential out. We've been following that creature's rules for weeks, we may as well discard them now that things have grown so dull.

Ah, thanks for reminding me! I'm surprised Beat hasn't shown up here yet though, you'd think he of all people would have enough spirit to linger around.

Perhaps he's simply running late. He is the type to barge in at the last possible second. And don't say that, Sanae might actually try to make him feel like less of an idiot for abstaining.

Well, at least none can complain have never tried... [can you imagine what the Doctor would be like if he showed up here and they hadn't tried that?]

[no not even his impressive imagination wants to picture that] True enough. And while I can't exactly say I'm happy about his death, besides gifting me with a lovely hat and a performance to look forward to, at least he's more tolerable than some of the other options.

Anyway, he'll show up eventually. Noisy children don't bow out without a fuss and someone needs to punch him for going along with that abstention plan as well.

Hee hee, you truly do have terrible luck, don't you? Though this was less of a pure gamble and more of a bet that our hunters are far more determined to see this through than they seem during the day.

I'll leave you in charge of that. I'm just curious as to what happened to Rhyme. It'll be a mess if she's dragged into this with him.

Normally, mine is much better than it has been these last two weeks. I really can't tell which of us had it worse this game. [dying first from six hours of crucifixion vs dying from poison and being left alone in the town??] And oh good, at least we'll have something to look forward to even if they do abstain again this trial.

His sister. Well, her soul at any rate, which he brought into this town. Though given Critter's fondness for animals and the fact that she's sort of a squirrel right now, who knows what'll wind up happening to her? [twewy is complicated okay]
