hunter's game the graveyard You wake up in an unfamiliar cabin. At first, it almost seems like you're in an entirely different place and that everything had been just a dream. The interior of the cabin looks nothing like the run-down, old-timey shacks that you had been living in before. Everything in here is sleek and modern, from the enormous flat-screen TV mounted on the wall to the fridge and mini-bars stocked with all your favorite foods. There aren't any individual rooms in here, just a common area large enough to house everyone comfortably, no matter how many more people join you...and there will be plenty more people joining you before the week is over. Because if you look outside the window, it quickly becomes clear that not only are you still in Prayer's Pass, but that you are no longer among the realm of the living. Judging from the tombstones directly outside, you're now in what had been the abandoned broken-down cabin in the graveyard. The cabin's not all that changed; the world outside has gone completely grey and everything you see appears to be faded and blurry. The only things that remain sharp and in color are what's inside the cabin, including your fellow ghosts. Occasionally, people who are still alive may enter, but it's clear that what they're seeing is completely different from what you're seeing. The door's unlocked; however, a mysterious force prevents you from stepping beyond the threshold, no matter how hard you may try. After all, this cabin is a cage for the dead - a gilded one, perhaps, but a cage nonetheless. On the flat-screen TV plays everything that is currently happening in the town. It will shut off once night starts...and something else will appear instead. (The graveyard so far)

Exactly why I shouldn't have been worrying you. [Lithuania smooths out Poland's hair a little more. He can't stop fussing, it's literally impossible.] Though I suppose you don't need me hiding everything from you, either.

[After being separated from Lithuania for what could easily contend for the most miserable two weeks of Poland's existence, he'll take all the ridiculous doting he's offered.]

We both kinda suck at hiding stuff from each other anyways.

[He can only guess how long it would have taken Lithuania to figure out he was a wolf had he lived.]

A little bit. [Lithuania has been planning on asking Poland why he had hardly said two words to him the day before he died, after all.] It would have been so much easier if we'd been on the same side.

Pick whatever role they wanted from everyone already dead. I'd of been fine with just prey though, honestly.

Yeah. It was kind of a total pain the butt when I got here. I mean I really got the brunt of the ewww wolves are evil ewww poland is evil by association ewwww junk, but whatever I could handle it.

[Poland grins. Lithuania sounds like he's heading in the right direction. Not that he'll confirm anything.] Go on~

When Mr. Wayne died, those who knew him seemed so insistent that he wouldn't kill anyone. Insistent enough I didn't vote for him. And then Miss Ada--she seemed like such a sweet girl, you know?

I thought--you know, maybe you could bring people back if you won, or something like that. [He laughs, a bit embarrassed.] Or maybe I just like wolves too much. I've always had a bit of a running theme there.

[Poland doesn't say anything, but hums contently.]

[Lithuania laughs.]

What a mess everything's become. I wonder what the clues will do.

Who knows. I can't even figure out what they're supposed to mean really, that's why I made you do it.

[Poland remembers the wording of Critter's promise that night in the woods. After studying clues for so long, maybe he'd gotten a little over zealous with parsing it's words but...]

Solving the real game sounded like the best alternative really. You have no idea how hard it was for Mayu and I to convince Kanaya.

Really? What else is there to do here? ...Besides eat, I suppose.

[At least clues seemed productive.]

Yeah the food and booze here are like the best part. At first I was like, oh my god is this going to be like one of Greece's weird myths where if you eat the food of the dead you're totally stuck forever?

But then I was like. Yeah whatever I'm hungry. And the fridge has good paluszki and wodka so.

[Yes, that is literally all he has been eating for two weeks. Aside from a rogue pierogi craving.]
