[There is a sudden, horrible gulping noise as she tries to form words that aren't there. All she can feel are fangs in her mouth, striking her lips and gums in desperate attempts to gain purchase, these comparatively tiny nicks distracting from the hideous pain in her vocal cords that just aren't doing what she tells them to, for the first time in her undeath unable to scream, unable to hiss, unable to speak very clearly. And at some point, longer than one might hope for but not too much so thanks to Bruce's efficiency, the lights go out. Literally. Her skin loses its light entirely and is entirely unglowing gray. Were one to force open the lids of her eyes, which have been fluttering a lot under Bruce's hand but settled closed in death, they would also find a softer yellow-orange shade rather than the bright yellow headlamps she boasted before.
