With night's fall, the television broadcasting everything happening in town turns off; even the ghosts will have to be kept in suspense over who will be joining them come morning. A list appears on the table in front of the TV with a ballpoint pen lying next to it.

Right, right, we'll just have to make more memories and keep them in our hearts and minds instead. [that would be hallmark worthy if he wasn't talking about beating some poor guy's face in]

You'll be the ambassador for our little cabin party, then. Hopefully this will be enough to help them crack the last of this case tomorrow. It truly would be a shame to walk out of here dead and defeated. [at least their motivation stays the same no matter how often the switch sides...]

If it'll make you feel better, just think of the fun we can have with him if these clues really do bring us back with everything this town's taken from us. [wearing the cheerful smile of someone who knows he can probably take out nearly everyone in here even just at half power]

I'd prefer the former over the latter. Though it's not much of a victory when we have to rely on such an inactive group to take charge.

[his expression brightens right the hell up at that.] Oh! I'd love that so much. I hate relying on anything but my bare hands when push comes to shove anyway, you know? [already flexing his fingers in punching anticipation...]

Ah, it isn't, but it's what we have to work with. You can practically consider yourself an active contributor with this little donation, anyway.

Unfortunately, I'm not much of a fan of the bare-handed approach - it's so messy and I'd hate to ruin my clothes. But I'll be sure to lend you a hand and cheer you on from a distance, hee hee. [and by cheering him on, he means psychically annihilating people from a distance]

Considering how well things went the last time I was an active contributor, I won't be surprised if they interpret this as a sign that they should just lie back and let Critter drive over them with a steamroller.

Ah, but you oughtn't joke about things like that. It may come true. They may be so fretful over the trial that they don't actually manage to piece the final parts of the puzzle together and then we truly would be getting more company when it's unnecessary. Honestly, if a single dead person shows up in this cabin after Oowada, I'll be beyond disappointed. They should have enough to speak to Critter about things by the trial.
