With night's fall, the television broadcasting everything happening in town turns off; even the ghosts will have to be kept in suspense over who will be joining them come morning. A list appears on the table in front of the TV with a ballpoint pen lying next to it.

I would like to volunteer this time and open up a clue. The audio and video clues are curious, but they need context. The "scraps" should be unlocked, potentially providing real context.

As well as that...I don't have anything of physical worth to give up, but I do have one memory that I would be willing to part with. One that should surely be fine payment.

Just make sure to pick a scrap that's totally accessible with the school and gallery currently locked.

Given they don't have any special indications, I would hope they are unlocked one by one in order of the locations. So the jail, for instance, would receive the first scrap.

Memories of my best friend. That way if we don't get out nobody but me gets hurt. I'd decided back on day five and been thoroughly approved by Critter, but Poland wanted to be the one to unlock the church and now everyone else is in line...

At this point I'm doubting whether it should even be me. I was so adamant about defeating the hunters during my undeath and now... that's starting to look less appealing.

At this point, it's less about defeating the hunters and more about helping the living figure this thing out before they all kill each other.

If you would prefer to go tomorrow, I won't stop you. But that's entirely up to you.

And like. The hunters odds totally suck so you should let us open more than one thing a night, because this is way too slow!

locked to damian

[Before he makes his decision to give up the memory he chose, Bruce will tap Damian once on the shoulder with a single finger and then move to a more quiet area of the cabin to sit. He's sure Damian will get the message well enough that words aren't needed.]

[Damian gets the message. And he wants to ignore the message. But this is the man he's tried to get to know for so long, and he's started to suspect his father might be worthy of being Damian's father despite being a hunter. Aftera minute, he trails along behind.]

[Part of him is pleased when Damian comes over, though his face doesn't show it. He's too focused on what's to come. Once Damian is close and everyone is out of earshot, he turns his head to his son.]

In a few minutes I'll be giving up one of my memories in order to unlock one of the clues. I want to tell you that memory before I surrender it. It isn't one you're aware of, but it's important.

[Damian steels himself. As much as he's alarmed by the thought of his father giving up memories, he's also pleased that his father wants to confide those memories to him.

He opens his mouth to argue about his father giving up anything, but them quiets. He'll argue after he finds out what the memory is.

Without looking at his father, he nods.]

[...Alright then.]

Years ago, Tim was out on the streets solo for the evening. I don't know how, but he ran into a trap set by the Joker and was kidnapped. His location alluded me for weeks...until Joker left an invitation if the form of a straight jacket. I quickly figured out that he was being held hostage in the ruins of Arkham Asylum, which was shut down due to the decrepit structure and crumbling stone. Batgirl and I went to rescue him...but, the real horror was not known to us yet.

[ Damian has to work harder than he wants to admit to hide his grin at the thought of Drake being in trouble. That's what happens to fake Robins, after all.

It falters as his father continues, however. Sure, Damian has tried to kill Drake before. But that was months ago. Even though he might not miss Drake, but Grayson certainly would. ]

The Joker killed him?

[ Which would make two Robins the Joker had killed. It was times like these that made Damian hate the no-killing policy all over again. ]

No.

[Though at the time, he wished Joker had. It would have been a kindness compared to what he actually did.]

We found him at the Asylum, along with Joker and Harley Quinn. That's when I found out what Joker actually did.

[His hands tense around his cane, the memory still fresh as it was all those years ago. Heavy and harsh.]

Joker tortured him. He used the old equipment at Arkham Asylum to do it, along with some chemical agents. The lunatic even taped it all and showed me. Tim...he broke. For weeks he was subjected to this torture. He told everything to Joker, my identity, his identity, and so on, in an attempt to save himself, but it didn't help him. Joker practically turned Tim into a clone of himself. Tim couldn't even talk when I saw him again...he could only laugh brokenly and even attacked Batgirl in his delirium.

In the end, Joker attempted to use him to kill me knowing I wouldn't dare fight Tim in his state.

......But, in the end, Tim was able to find a moment of clarity. Your guess was only half right - Joker didn't kill Tim. Tim killed the Joker. Shot him right in the chest. Died almost instantly.

[ Damian can't say he's surprised. Not at Tim being captured, not at his being tortured, not even at the Joker getting shot and dying. Certainly not at the Joker using Tim to fight Batman.

But there is one thing that definitely gets him. ]

Tim told who you were?

[ Yes, because this is the most important thing. Damian wouldn't have told. ]
