 You wake up in an unfamiliar cabin. At first, it almost seems like you're in an entirely different place and that everything had been just a dream. The interior of the cabin looks nothing like the run-down, old-timey shacks that you had been living in before. Everything in here is sleek and modern, from the enormous flat-screen TV mounted on the wall to the fridge and mini-bars stocked with all your favorite foods. There aren't any individual rooms in here, just a common area large enough to house everyone comfortably, no matter how many more people join you...and there will be plenty more people joining you before the week is over. Because if you look outside the window, it quickly becomes clear that not only are you still in Prayer's Pass, but that you are no longer among the realm of the living. Judging from the tombstones directly outside, you're now in what had been the abandoned broken-down cabin in the graveyard. The cabin's not all that changed; the world outside has gone completely grey and everything you see appears to be faded and blurry. The only things that remain sharp and in color are what's inside the cabin, including your fellow ghosts. Occasionally, people who are still alive may enter, but it's clear that what they're seeing is completely different from what you're seeing. The door's unlocked; however, a mysterious force prevents you from stepping beyond the threshold, no matter how hard you may try. After all, this cabin is a cage for the dead - a gilded one, perhaps, but a cage nonetheless. On the flat-screen TV plays everything that is currently happening in the town. It will shut off once night starts...and something else will appear instead. |

You know... I'd get it, if I didn't get brought back after what we did. And I really admire his honor in thinking about going for me of all wolves at all. But... you've got to admit all this is kind of a riot. And the Doctor even being the one who gets off a little easier than everyone else. This whole game is just so ironical.

Well, yeah, Syo's pretty sure you're a baby in the time all those kids are from....... but if this stuff is linear I'd be an old man by then. Maybe even senile. Do you remember any weird old American men approaching you back when you were a little kid, Akane?
You know what, let's stick with the mummy plan.
[He continues to hold her, looking rather sentimental. Even if they do both come back to life (#timeline problems)... she'd be going to Japan in the future. They both know this mummy plan is a bad joke. It's a good thing they share a sense of humor.]

More or less. It was frustrating and near everyone made mistakes, but for a game that revolved around sacrifice, I suppose this bunch wasn't too miserable.

We had good luck with Syo being around to rid us of Sharon and start the real game and then reverting in time to actually make a sacrifice, you know.

I don't understand why they're doing it, either. I get wanting to bring some of us back, maybe, but... but all of us?
[ She had tried her best, but there were times even she had been unkind to the people chosen to die.
Nonetheless, she's rather glad that these are the last ones alive. She doesn't think many of the others they'd killed would be so kind. Or noble. ]

[ She'd been so sure the Doctor would get himself killed in trial if he tried hard enough. She'd even considered killing Clara to give him motivation to stay alive, and now look at her. Clara, Fukawa, and Madoka... Even Gundam (damn him). Where would they be without these final few? ]
