graveyard part 2

hunter's game the graveyard

You wake up in an unfamiliar cabin.

At first, it almost seems like you're in an entirely different place and that everything had been just a dream. The interior of the cabin looks nothing like the run-down, old-timey shacks that you had been living in before. Everything in here is sleek and modern, from the enormous flat-screen TV mounted on the wall to the fridge and mini-bars stocked with all your favorite foods. There aren't any individual rooms in here, just a common area large enough to house everyone comfortably, no matter how many more people join you...and there will be plenty more people joining you before the week is over.

Because if you look outside the window, it quickly becomes clear that not only are you still in Prayer's Pass, but that you are no longer among the realm of the living. Judging from the tombstones directly outside, you're now in what had been the abandoned broken-down cabin in the graveyard. The cabin's not all that changed; the world outside has gone completely grey and everything you see appears to be faded and blurry. The only things that remain sharp and in color are what's inside the cabin, including your fellow ghosts. Occasionally, people who are still alive may enter, but it's clear that what they're seeing is completely different from what you're seeing. The door's unlocked; however, a mysterious force prevents you from stepping beyond the threshold, no matter how hard you may try. After all, this cabin is a cage for the dead - a gilded one, perhaps, but a cage nonetheless.

On the flat-screen TV plays everything that is currently happening in the town. It will shut off once night starts...and something else will appear instead.

I want a refund for this Trial

[Poland throws up his hands hand... ARMS exasperatedly.]

No, that's like totally cool Naegi! Just freaking give up like basically every other hunter in a trial did. No biggie!

It's not like you had a gigantic out staring you in the face with Liet being the only one who can read Ukraine's diary and my diary at this trial or anything!

I'm so over this!

speakveryclearly: Kanaya roaring with rage and truth, fully exposing her fangs and furious glow. Jade lipstick and eye makeup. (Disproof)

"Lithuania framed me." Three words! That's all he would have had to say, and he has no less than four schoolmates who would vouch for him unconditionally. But no! He just has to sacrifice himself to save them even though they're prey and we know traitors never prosper. His final words are even lies in spite of it all - creating the perfect cover for Kyouko once and for all since apparently he only cares about his friends rather than whatever welfare the wolves are so frantically pursuing.

WHEN HE CONVERTED KYOUKO IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! Does he REALIZE that? IF THE PREY WINS, KYOUKO WILL HAVE TO DIE!

No...it was smart. Probably the first smart move he's made all game, actually. Even if he claimed to have been framed, it wouldn't have come off as believable in the least and he would have most likely been executed anyway. This way, he's set up our path to victory.

Don't you get it? If the prey accepts his word at face value, that means they'll stop looking for the convert...which means that Kirigiri, who had caught two hunters beforehand and has proven her role multiple times, is now completely clear. They'll be trusting her with information - including who the new watcher is, as well as any other roles we may be missing. We don't need Naegi to win. We only need Kirigiri.

Well...actually I think people already suspect her.
speakveryclearly: Kanaya in ivory, pointing out a problem with a raised arm and trying not to be petulant. (Dissatisfaction)

But... you wolves can't win if you keep getting lynched, can you? You're fairly certain at least two hunters will be up on the chopping block. That will leave only four hunters - it would take practically ten days to devour enough prey, and somebody will have to eventually question what Kyouko's still doing alive given at least a week during which she's the only hunter left. I think the prey's lead is too great at this point for the pack to prevail.

Banking our victory on one person is completely stupid.

We should all demand refunds

No, England's right. That was a very savvy move.

[Don't mind her, she's just sulking over it.]

I don't think it will fool everyone...at least I hope not.

[She's only semi optimistic.]
